[Gimp-user] Gimp 2.10 Tool Option pop up icon display

So on Gimp 2.10 I started editing a photo. During the process I did steps to remove an item. During the 
process this “Tool Options” icon box popped up on my display blocking the Mac Start Options, File, Edit drop 
down menus. I am wondering how I can stop this icon from popping up every time I try and edit photos using 
Gimp 2.10. And it goes onto of all other applications and start.
