[Gimp-user] Problem importing from RawTherapee

Thanks in anticipation for your help

Using Ubuntu 18.04.1, GIMP 2.10 and RawTherapee 5.3.1.
I can import Fuji RAF (Raw) files into RawTherapee and have designated GIMP as
the external editor but when I try to send the file to GIMP it will open but I
get the following message:

'Opening '/tmp/20184453_RAF_embedded.tif' failed: Error opening file
/tmp/20184453_RAF_embedded.tif: No such file or directory'

Why can't it see the file but RawTherapee still opens GIMP?

I have tried searching this forum and the net so apologies if I have missed this
elsewhere.
