THis depends on what you’re trying to do.
G'MIC and Resynthesizer are two that are especially useful.
The GIMP team is working on a new repository for plugins but it's not
yet available unfortunately, so you may end up using archive.org and
rebuilding resynthesizer (depending on which Linux distribution you
use, it might also be packaged for you).
G'MIC is at gmic.eu
If you are a photographer, darktable and the darktable gimp plugin that
comes with it is awesome.
If you scan images on Linux, xsane has a GIMP plugin, although i'm not
sure it works with GIMP 2.10; i tend to save the files to disk anyway.
