[Gimp-user] Doesn't find pictures

I have just downloaded Gimp 2.10.8. Win 10
When I click open I go to C:/users/eingr/pictures.
But no pictures show up to open!
2.8.xx had no problems finding them, but I uninstalled it and deleted my user
gimp file.
