Yes, the registry has been down for a while and will likely be in this
state for at least a little while longer.

We actually had a discussion about this at LGM last month and decided that
we were going to rebuild the registry with an eye towards including a
plug-in installation directly from within GIMP at some point.

For the time being you can continue using the site in it's current state,
read-only.  This should still give you access to the plug-ins that were
uploaded before we had to lock it down.

#gimp is probably the best place, but I'm normally idling in #gimp-user and
