[Gimp-user] GIMP2.8 : image description is getting lost suring export to jpeg

Hi,
   Recently I have shifted to Gimp 2.8. I also use picasa to create
description and upload purpose. Image descriptions created by picasa is
getting lost if I export (after edits) in gimp. Gimp is replacing existing
description with "x-default". Could you pls let me know how to fix this ?
How do I keep the descriptions intact ?
