[Gimp-user] undocking

After watching a few tutorials I was able to dock and undock the tool options.
Today I started fresh and cannot get any tool options to work.Yes U grab the
bkue tio birder and try ti slide them. When I watch tool tutorials, their
options are magically in place. I have uinstalled and reinstalled Gimp to no
avail. Can you help me.Thankyou,
