that's sensless
it is like it is and this is not a perfect world, so never ever everyone 
could be satisfied
this whole discussion about save, export and so on is only a wasting of time
so stop that and do what GIMP is for - (GNU) IMAGE MANIPULATION (PROGRAMM)
