I am running gimp 2.8.4 under Fedora 17 Linux.  When I try to export a
file I've worked on, gimp crashes.   The exported file is written, but
I
have to restart gimp to continue working.

What is going on?




Try starting gimp from the command line, cause a crash and see what
the console then says, might give some clues
