[Gimp-user] gimp 2.8 text size problem

Hello, i noticed that after duplicating a text layer when i try to change the text content, the text layer 
changes the size of text to the size what is set in the text tool... 
For example, when the text size is  48 in the text tool dialog and i have a text layer with text size 12 and 
i duplicate my layer and want to change the text layers content, i select all text via ctrl+a and try to 
write a new text but the text size changes to 48, and everytime i have to set it manually again. 
Is this a normal behavior for text tool...
