How do I quickly separate an image's channels into grayscale layers? I'll need to do this frequently, so is
there an automated way? If there isn't, can it be done with python scripting? Would it take me a long time to
learn how to write such a script assuming I know a bit of Python (as used in Blender), but haven't done any
scripting with GIMP?
