[Gimp-user] Install 2.8 alongside 2.6 in windows?

I did this myself; 2.6 x86 after 2.8 x64 onto w7 x64.
It even remembered all my old settings for 2.6.12, but forgot my most recently opened xcf files. I don't know 
if it will work with the same target machine type though, I suppose you might be able to select a different 
install directory.
