[Gimp-user] Underwater filter

I am an experienced diver but new to editing underwater photos. Several fellow divers suggested GIMP as a 
comprehensive editing package.

I have one basic question.  What is the easiest way to filter the overall blue tint seen in all of my 
underwater pictures. Is there a built in underwater filter?

I would love it if any divers that have experience in this area could provide some suggestions to this 
editing neophyte.
