[Gimp-docs] What is Lock brush to view useful?

Hi,

I understand what the "Lock brush to view" option does with brush size and canvas rotation but I can't see what it can be used for in image editing.

In this reference https://github.com/mypaint/mypaint/issues/289 , the explanation

"it is of extreme
utility when painting. It allows a very natural 'iterative refinement' process
with no need to repeatedly ask the application to change brush size as you go
between the broad strokes and the detailing."

is not clear for me.

Could you enlighten me?
