[Gimp-developer] gegl_buffer_get() and gegl_buffer_set()

Try looking at gimp/plug-ins/common/contrast-retinex.c,  or other examples in the gimp repository.  I should 
think one would be doing a similar thing as your plugin.  I know very little about gegl and plugins.
