[Gimp-developer] Plugin development environment

My name is Lee J

 

I have occasionally used GIMP, and found it to be invaluable!!!

 

As I've become more accustomed to graphics work I've become more ambitious
and thought how useful it would be to unskew scanned documents

 

Toward this end I was reading
http://developer.gimp.org/writing-a-plug-in/1/index.html, specifically the
section "Compiling the plugin" about the requirements for libgimp and
gimptool but I don't know how to find them

 

Please advise
