dear gimp developers,

on the one side it's really nice to see gimp 2.8 getting closer and
closer to being released...

... on the other side the LGM 2012 is also getting closer and closer!

so, if by chance the release happens to be planned short before
the LGM, it would be wonderful if you would consider announcing it at
the LGM itself!
