shave-libtool usage

Hi,
I have difficulties to rebuild giggle since shave-libtool has been
introduced. I encounter:
.././shave-libtool: line 66: --silent: command not found
It seems that the SHAVE_SAVED_LIBTOOL make variable is unset. Can you
give me the tips to fix this issue?
