The other thing you should know is that sigmoidization should be ripped out of the LoHalo code: One can do better than to enlarge through linear light when the filter has negative lobes, but I ascertained last Summer that sigmoidization is not the way to do it.

I spent some time with the code but it gets a little tougher to keep the strings together. I was wondering if there are any blog posts explaining the implementation process of Cubic, NoHalo and LoHalo algorithms.
