Hi,
I managed to avoid the error of CRLF by git cloning:
git clone https://github.com/Alexpux/MINGW-packages.git
and then copying the gedit PKGBUILD file.
Now I get a different error:
makepkg-mingw -sL
==> ERROR: install file (gedit-x86_64.install) does not exist or is
not a regular file.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Kevin

Hi,
Thanks a lot for you quick response!
I tried it and I get
makepkg-mingw -sL
==> ERROR: PKGBUILD contains CRLF characters and cannot be sourced.
Any ideas?

Kevin

Hi, gedit-list,
I am looking for instructions for building gedit on windows.
I came across this link, which seems outdated:
https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Gedit/Windows
In this link the directions tell to clone the repo by "svn co", and
the repo does not
exist at all. It seems to me that gedit moved from svn to git a long time
ago.
I would appreciate if anybody can tell me where I can find info about
building
gedit under windows,
Regards,
Kevin
