Re: [gedit-list] Gedit 3.0.2: Hiding the tab bar

Hey,

the plugin doesn't exists because know you can just use a gsettings key.

See: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gedit/tree/data/org.gnome.gedit.gschema.xml.in.in#n151

Hi guys,

In older versions of Gedit there used to be a plugin that would let me hide the tab bar. I can't seem to find it on Fedora 15 with Gedit 3.0.2. Is it still available?

If it isn't available, would you guys accept a patch enabling hiding the tab bar with a Gsettings tweak? I'm reasonably proficient in Gobject and C.

I like to hide the tab bar because I have a widescreen monitor and the side panel makes better use of the available screen real estate.
