[gedit-list] tools/generate-plugin.py not creating configure.ac?

Hi all,

I'm interested in writing a C plugin so I had a look at the guide
here:

    http://live.gnome.org/Gedit/NewMDIPluginHowTo

and ran the gedit/tools/generate-plugin.py script but it didn't
generate a configure.ac. I could probably hack one up myself but
I'd prefer to work from an existing one.

Anyone have a pointer to one?
