[gedit-list] Folding in gedit

Hey:

gedit developers: I wanna know why  there's no folding available on gedit. 
Maybe there's some manifest out there exposing the reason, but I don’t know 
it. so, why ?

PS: I mean as a basic/core feature. (maybe there's plugin providing this but
