Hi Robert,

you can already make that in gedit:
- You can go to System->Preferences->Appearance->Interface->Toolbar Button labels (To change it globally for the desktop)
- Or change the key: /apps/gedit-2/preferences/ui/toolbar/toolbar_buttons_style

I would however like to see an option to toggle between large and small Toolbar icons, like in Firefox. That's probably the only thing I would like to see added.
