[gedit-list] Geditor position is not the same as closed at first step

Hi list,

Start1. launch gedit.
Step2. Move the gedit application window to some other X & Y position. Also
resize the same.
Step3. Select the option 'File :Quit' from the gedit menu bar and start it
again.
Geditor position is not the same as closed at first step

all i can see is that some applications like tomboy notes have this kind feature and some like gnome-terminal don't yet.
is this a bug?
