The easiest solution would perhaps be to write an External Tool ( Tools
-> External Tools...) to do it? You would have to bind the function to
another hotkey than ( , though.

  It sounds like a solution, but a little awkward, I was thinking in something more native, maybe hacking
  gtksource view or the Bracket Completion plugin like Jesse and Curtis suggested.

  I will begin reading those sources.
