Use Tools_External Tools. . .
create new tool and don't try to change its name.
set input to "nothing"
output to "at cursor position
applicability "all files"
#!/bin/tcsh
setenv
Close the dialog. create a new file of place the cursor at the bottom
of a current file and execute.
In bash, the default shell, the command is "export", I think. It
seems to work the same way but I'm not sure what else it does.
