[gedit-list] [n00b] plugins not showing up

Hi,

I downloaded the regexsearch plugin from the gedit plugins site and
extracted it into /usr/lib/gedit-2/plugins.

I also made sure the .py files were executable.

When I restart gedit and check the plugins page in preferences, the
regexsearch plugin is not listed.

What am I doing wrong?
