[gedit-list] Updating toggle status in a menu entry

Hello,

I've made a plugin that adds a "word wrap" menu entry to gedit, as 
described here:

Unfortunately, the menu entry state is not updated properly when there 
is more than one tab opened, creating chaos. Is there a "right way" to 
treat this specific case (updating a menu entry when changing tabs)?
