Hello Steve,

i'm developing a Online Help plugin (did some others too:
http://my.opera.com/area42/search/?search=gedit )  
simliar to a feature of the Freeware editor PSPad (www.pspad.com):

For that i copied your plugin "External Tools" and modified it
( http://files.myopera.com/area42/files/onlinehelp.zip ).
At the moment the plugin appears in the Help menu and the added links
available appears in Help > Online Help. 
All seems pretty complex, my main problems are:

- based on the name ot the link and the "|" i'd like too include a
submenu in Help > Online Help menu
    example: HTML|A List A Part will generate a menu Help > Online Help
> A List A Part
- i didn't need an input, output, panel, short cuts or on what kind of
documents it is availble
- the command must be only field for the URL
- how to start the default browser of the desktop

Did you have hints or help for that questions?
