[gedit-list] changing window tab size

Hi,

I normally have lots of files open, and they often get lost in the window tab list at the top of the window.

Is there any way to change the width of these tabs? Or anyway of 'stacking' them up when they get too numerous like jEdit does?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
