[gedit-list] A bad thing in GEDIT

Hello.
I've chosen gedit as my favourite editor in LAMP
development. I am excited with it.
It highlights sources very well and does not
annoy with all the rest.
But it has one disadvantage.
It is possible to open accidentally one file twise
and to overwrite it. I'am using gedit for some weeks, 
but yesterday when working on php site
accidentally overwrited one file and lost some changes.
Could you fix that?

And one more suggest. It would be great to have the
possibility to select text and press tab and indent it
and press shift tab and indent it in opposit direction.

Also I turned off autogeneration of ~files but it looks like 
gedit still keeps generate them.

Include in Subject field "debian"
because my spam filter rejects
the letter if it doesn't contain "debian" in 
subject or from field.
