Great!

Your plugin looks cool.

Are you willing to extend your plugin and try to write a more general
tools plugin (a plugin to launch generic tools from gedit itself, for
example a java compiler, or latex, etc.) to be included in the next
release of gedit? We already have some idea at the design level and some
UI mockup provided by Rui Lopes we could use as a starting point.

Rui: can we use them? Are you still interested in developing such a
plugin?

If you know python, I think this plugin will be a perfect candidate to
test our new python plugins support.

Ciao,
Paolo
