[gedit-list] cursor colour

I think this has been asked before but, is there any way to change the
colour of the cursor?
I prefer to use black backround and the cursor disappears because of
the default colour.
If it is not possible, it would be a useful aspect to add.

PS: I'm using 2.8.1
