[gedit-list] Gedit 2.6 with Mi/X Server

I recently upgraded our Unix lab to Fedora Core 2. 
Since then, gedit has stopped working with the 
Mi/X Server on the Windows XP machines on campus. 

Specifically, when you start gedit, the window 
appears, followed immediately by an error 
window and the following on the console: 


GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: file gdk-pixbuf-io.c: line 761 (gdk_pixbuf_new_from_file): assertion `filename != NULL' failed

(gedit:5586): Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkgc-x11.c: line 809 (gdk_x11_gc_get_xgc): assertion `GDK_IS_GC_X11 (gc)' failed


We are using Mi/X 4.1.    Has anyone seen this problem or 
if you are using a similar setup, could you test it? 

I have sent email to Microimages (the Mi/x makers) but thought 
that I would try here as well.  

One more thing:  gedit works fine on the linux machines
and works if you run it on one linux machine and display 
it on a second.
