[gedit-list] GEdit's Default Locale

Hello from Athens-Greece

I use gedit on my Fedora Core 3 machine. The os default local is UTF-8, yet 
i wish to have a different locale pre-selected every time i run gedit (e.g. 
iso-8859-7, the one appropriate for my native language: greek). Is there a 
way to do this? Please assist.
