[gedit-list] gedit manual?

We are trying to install gedit now.

I have a few questions:

1.  How can I join the gedit-list distribution list?  (Please repond
to ken beesley xrce xerox com)

2.  Where can I find a manual or other detailed information about using 
gedit?

3.   Can gedit handle BIDI scripts, especially the input and rendering 
of Arabic?

4.  Can users define their own input methods for Unicode?  e.g. can I 
define my
own entry methods for Arabic, Georgian, IPA, Deseret Alphabet, Cherokee, 
etc., to
match my own tastes and habits?
