Hi Mathew,

I would like my Most Recently Used list under File
to be empty when I start up. I realize this is being read from
the [History] entry in ~/.gnome/gedit.

Other tha removing ~/.gnome/gedit, is their a way to do what I want?

no, sorry.
If you want you can just remove the list from the
~/.gnome/gedit file, without deleting it
