Hi Avently,
So it looks like your desktop notification system is working reasonably
well. Given that, can you please try making sure Geary is not running
in the background ("pkill geary"), then launch it again from your
desktop launcher, and see if notifications start working then?
Cheers,
//Mike

Hi, Mike. No, Deepin doesn't have something like that. Deepin has
notifications panel but I can't hide any selected application. Also
I checked examples on
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Desktop℅20notifications
I can build C example and it works fine.
notify-send "Hello, world" works too.

Hello. I use Geary many months but never saw a notification about
new
mail. I use Manjaro Deepin (arch-based) with latest version of
Geary
(makepkg~g00718198).
Of course i installed libnotify and notification from system apps
works fine (when wifi connects, for example). And i enabled
working
in background and notifications in settings of Geary. I do not
know
it's the system bug (Deepin is not so stable as everyone wants) or
Geary bug. So maybe we can fix it together.
The first thing I would check is your desktop's global notification
preferences. GNOME's control center has a "Notifications" panel that
allows you to selectively enable notifications on a per-app basis,
does Deepin have something similar?
