Hi all,
If you have set your Geary accounts to download all mail and have been
experiencing Geary's background sync process never quite finding all of
the messages, causing it to always go back and try to find them every
time, can you please try running Geary from git master and let me know
if the issue is fixed there for you?
After building and launching Geary from git master, you should the
background sync do a full run back to Jan 1 2000 for each problematic
folder once more at startup, but from then on only when a folder
changes and then only partially, i.e. not all the way back to the year
2000.
Note that you currently need to use "-d --log-periodic" when running
geary to see the background sync's activity.
I've just pushed some changes to master that fixes the issue for me,
and would like to get some feedback to see if it addresses the issue
for others as well, as part of Bug 713530[0]. If you do see any issues
with it, please add a note to that bug.
Thanks!
//Mike
