For those of you who do not understand French, emersion, the guy behind 
the PGP implementation for Geary seems to have given up his project [1].

According to him, if Pantheon Mail really switch to EDS for the mail 
management, PGP would be handled directly by EDS, simplifying greatly 
the code.

Bonjour !

Chez GNOME, il ne se passe plus rien. Chez elementary, le développement 
est très soutenu avec de nombreuses améliorations. On prévoit de changer 
la librairie qui gère la réception des emails et migrer vers EDS 
(Evolution Data Server) pour Loki+1. La gestion de PGP dans Geary serait 
alors assurée par EDS directement, et cela allégeait grandement le code.

Si vous voulez des références, je peux essayer de les retrouver !
