[gdm-list] Configuration

Hi all, I have compilled sucessfully the gdm 3.16.4 on my slackware machine with pam and without systemd.

Now the strange thing that happens is that when I start in init 4 which is X by default on slackware I get the gdm up and running but it opens me the gnome 3.20 desktop instead of asking me for a password.

Any ideas on where to start and why this happens ?
