[gdm-list] gdm on hurd

Hello,

I have recently installed gdm on hurd, the app starts, doesnt creaty any log in /var/log... but doesnt start X .. i've searched for gdm related config files in /etc ... but i dont know what i should investigate, maybe it is necessary to access the code itself.

Please could you give me hint where to start looking? maybe everything is alright but i am missing some settings... i would be thankful if someone told me what happens after gdm is started from init.d/gdm script..

I am willing to test gdm on hurd, and try to find out why it doesnt work

To put it right, i dont expect gdm to work completely, i actually expect some logs that would tell me whats wrong, maybe there is problem with some dependency that gdm has.
