Hi,

Here is another brief update on the status of GDM for 2.22.

In the past week we've made significant progress and managed to knock
a a number of big items off the to-do list. [1]

* Reboot / shutdown from the greeter now work (via ConsoleKit)
* A patch for gnome-panel shutdown support is in bugzilla
* Session switching works
* XDMCP (including chooser) works

We are close to having language and keyboard selection.  That will
involve some UI change.

We should be in pretty good shape by the time the string freeze comes
(Feb 11).  In a week we should know better and I'll send another
update.
