That's correct we don't have a way to allow tcp connections to the x
server at the moment. It is on our to-do list:

Can you explain a bit about the scenario you'd like to use this, to
help us understand the use case a bit better?

I'm working an a SELinux based secure selection manager and want to use xmon to see what events a Citrix Metaframe ICA client is generating when copying and pasting. Unfortunately xmon only wants to talk to the X sever via TCP :(
I see code in gdm-server.c for this does it not get used?
