I'm trying to compile garnome-2.14.1 on SuSE 10.1.
make paranoid-install
The compilation goes a long way, until it hits freedesktop/shared-mime-info.
Then it says:

Eventually it gives up.
What needs to be done to fix this?
Thanks,
