[gdm-list] mis-messaging finale

It turns out the solution to gdm's cryptic authorisation problems are 
equally cryptic, but once painfully discovered, amazingly succinct and 
effective:
1. Delete  ~.Authority
2. Logout
3. kdm
4. Login
5. (problem gone away!)
