Hi.
We have a PC at work that uses gdm and starts 3 X sessions at boot
time. Since many of us use it, it often happens all 3 of them are
locked and you need to kill on in order to get into X. I'd like to
increase the number of ran sessions of 3 to 5 -- how do I do that?
I've googled for this a lot, but simply cannot find it. The best
option I've seen is manually running xinit --display :0 (and :1, :2,
:3, :4), but that would preclude the use of gdm. I've also grepped
through several /etc/gdm/gdm.conf files - and found no appropriate
option. Finally, I've checked /etc/init.d/gdm, but that script is only
a wrapper for /usr/sbin/gdm. So?
Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.
