When trying to use gdmgreeter(v2.6.0.8) on Solaris 9 with a GNOME 2.8
environment (www.blastwave.org) the gui image is displayed correctly but
NO text.  I've tried a number of themes including "circles" with no
luck.  Any ideas ??


Sounds like your Xserver might be having problems finding fonts.  Is
your fontconfig set properly?  I suspect the problem isn't with GDM,
but with your system font configuration.
