launching gdmchooser directly from gdmgreet.

I would like to add functionality to allow the gdmchooser to be launched
directly from gdmgreet, much like it works in CDE.  It is my understanding
that gdm2 doesn't fully support XDMCP.  It only seems to support Indirect
connections.

Although I am happy to do the work to add this feature, I don't know a
great deal about XDMCP.  Is there anyone out there who would be willing
to help me understand more specifically what work needs to be done?
